I started making pies about nine years ago. I would make pumpkin pie and pumpkin bread for a fruit market in Lasalle.I was dating the son of the owner.(that's how it all started) I was making them with just a bowl and a wisk. The pie I used a bowl and two knives to make the dough. I would make them out of my little bachelor apartment in Cottam. Gradually I bought a stand mixer of the clearance isle in Canadian Tire in Essex, then I bought a bigger bowl, and eventually I bought a food processor once again off the clearance rack in Canadian tire. Years past and the food processor bit the dust after I fixed it twice, but then there was no hope for it. In there somwhere i moved on up to a pastry cutter as well.So I finally made enough money with my pies to buy a 2hp delongi stand mixer, then I bought a cuisanart food processor. Now I could really go into action. Then one day I approached Greg at the Schinkels' Meat Market in Essex, and gave them some pie and asked him if he would sell them for me, In which he did. This is when I stared to get bigger and better.Previously to going retail I would sell my pies out of my truck at work and also did alot of fundraisers..
